What do you think of Raisin so far?

I feel bad for her because she seems to be trying so hard to fit in and falling short. I felt especially bad when she went up to the table at the restaurant thinking that the birthday cake was for her and it was for one of the other girls. How embarrassing!

November 12, 2008: We played scrabble again and discussed the book. Continue reading up to page 149. In your butterfly and flower journals, list all the characters in the book so far. Write a short description of each character and anything you've noticed about those characters.
